Thanks. I think the Victory boards have echo as well, it has 2 knobs, and now i look at the model it's a VEB/UTB...so echo? I haven't opened em up. Anyway, if anybody has any interest, as I don't, let me know and we'll work something out. I think I bought the lot for one of the Viagra boards...

These kits are probably over 25 plus years old, back when it was a secret.

I found a few of these SPECTOR SP-41 kits in some of my inherited stuff. I think it's close to the Galaxy kits for 29 etc. Not sure if it's relevant here or not, it does have upper and lower setups, the chips are shaved on them. There's a list of radio applications on the .pdf.

I also have a couple of these blue dot viagra boards. is there an identifier for different models B boards etc. Brand new.

Going through some things and found a box full of parts/things I evidently bought in 2014 as "Miscellaneous CB Radio Parts". I would think that with all the pro's here I can get them identified. They are mostly new, though vintage for sure.

Would any one happen to have a owners manual for the 79-892? I thought I had one in the box, but I guess it doesn't. A scan would be helpful if possible. I have service manual, but would like to get a copy of the owners manual. Thanks.

Making a few contacts today in OK and some on the Gulf. My old Midland 79-892 can't quite make the trip on the 12W so a little help from my friends was needed.

I too find the older radios to be quieter, more receptive, better sounding on TX and RX, and definitely easier to just turn on and talk with no complicated menus and such to play with. I just put my old Midland 79-892 on the air after a lot of years. It looks newish and has been recapped. Nice...
