MRF477 deceased, leaves behind grieving owner of Galaxy DX66V.

The MOSFET does not bias the same and you will need to convert. They do work.... I saw 24W or so PEP w/ the 520 and around 30 or 34W PEP with the Z24, I can't remember the exact numbers There is bias drift with heat and I do see output change when it heats up, but they do work. Beats the hell...

You did so well with the last amp......

The Firebird experiment. It has been reworked several times since these were taken. The transistors in this photo didn't work out, nor did their AB mod. I used a solid state AB switch and the transistors that were from the factory for the best result. I had tried some bigger devices in it too...

I am intimately familiar with it. I have two of them, that I have completely redone my way. I have one that does 100 watts but very clean and the other around 200. I fitted bigger devices in the 200 watter. One is a Firebird, the other is a DSS.

Here is the schematic. I saw that yours has the AB mod installed. It would be the same as the 1010SB. Most of the component values are not on the diagram.

I have replaced the MRF477 with the 1969, CB20, IRF520, IRF530 and IRFZ24. If you need CB20, I have them. The best so far, is the IRFZ24, but you have to do some circuit changes and is a bit of work. I can't recall which I have i my MK1 Jackson. Either a 520 or 24.

    Anytone At-6666 Pro

It is not a valid test, when the setups are not the same. The antennas and locations were not the same. That is the minimum criteria.

    Anytone At-6666 Pro

That is not a valid test. It must be equal in every way.

    Radioddity QT-60 *Pro*

I emailed them too. Frankly, if the radio is in as new condition, you would have had to break the seals anyway. You do have a warranty, so I wouldn't worry about it.

    Radioddity QT-60 *Pro*

I thought that was odd as well. That has not been the case in any of my radios from them, so I asked them about this. SL

Was the expansion wire cut when you received it?

    Radioddity QT80 (6666 pro clone)

From what I am told, they don't do repairs.

It is not like any of the Boomer's I've seen.

I have one here, that I turned into a Frankenstein. What do you want to know about it? It is same or similar to Digital Sport Systems, Bishop, Hooker, Bimbo, Hoebag (joking) and more.
