Heil Sound Microphones......
Consider this...I took an old Realistic base amplified mike as I'm sure everyone has seen and in it I placed a HC-5 cartridge.Modded the batt. case to accept 9V and did nothing else. Work with Empereor TS-5010 in mobile and never get no complaints and by me thats good Remember the HC-5...- troz

still cookin Still workin the old 1011C as main unit a year later...even with low dx activity this is a nice receiver for ground wave even blows the 858 uniden TRC-457 out of the water as long as static is low Only thing the Silly needs to make it a hall of famer is a noise blanker Still lovin...- troz

If Siltronix has 6V power tube..ie 6JS6C/6KD6 it will still not be too hard too keep it on the air Silly that is dialed in is a top of the line rig for both AM and SSB Really depends on operator savy As some would say not yer plug and play rig but myohmy they are nice sounding on ssb with a non...- troz
