    11m delta loop question

I found a formula that says 1005/freq. So that comes out to 36.94 feet. I guess 2:1 for the rectangle shape would be ok? Feed it from the side for vertical polarization. How do i calculate the 75ohm coax feeder? Just use the vp of the coax and calculate a 1/4 wave?

    11m delta loop question

Ive been wanting to play with this for years now. I think im ready. Lol. I think id feed it from the side to get vertical polarization right? That article doesnt give formulas for length or proportion etc. should i just use the available formulas for antennas of wire for a ful wave? Could i use...

    Choke input hv power supplies

I worked on a swinging choke supply. It was 1.2a and the choke was a peter dahl marked 2-4hy. The choke was literally 70%the size of the plate transformer.

    Choke input hv power supplies

Maybe some greybeards on here remember when choke input power supplies were the norm. Every amplifier had them. The wisdom that was preached is that they offer better regulation. I worked on plenty of amplifiers with them both large and small. The largest supply I've ever used with a choke input...

    Black Al Capone antennas

Well, im not saying that one way or the other. They tune, they work, they are safe with big watts. I am happy he still is around. Its cool because hes been doing this for decades and hes a piece of the old school.

    Black Al Capone antennas

Hey everyone. I was able to answer my own question through a friend of mine. He's really old now and he's still kicking but he hasn't been building a lot. But if anybody needs his stuff he still got stuff. I'm glad to see another person didn't get claimed by time. His number is 1 (716)...
