Hear them all the time — everyday — and often reply. The reply is a location given and a request for theirs. This tends to get the ball rolling.
Some air checks cause a pile-up due to road confluences. Try one in Atlanta or Knoxville. Hagerstown or Casa Grande. Effingham, Breezewood or...
I’m trying to get a handle on this as stud failure (?) is the topic?
— The coax is outside the arm in the wind?
Given that, my approach has been to both tape the connection and zip-tie the coax to the arm where proper slack removes pressure on the connecting pieces.
I normally use a 90-degree...
Riding the luge down out of Balt Le Moore and DC to make it to the Shenandoah Valley.
Dark, wet, bad visibility.
No end of truck drivers telling others how bad they are at driving.
Pretty much accurate
China’s production advantage is fading. They need to convert from an export economy to a more self-sufficient consumer economy. But unlike 1950s USA, they have neither a strong currency nor advantageous planetary per capita GDP.

My preference is for “brightness” due to vocal pitch. A guy with a...
Mic Comparison
Had the GALAXY 99v2 along just to do a comparison test between three brand new microphones purchased in the past two months. (Takes a Galaxy to test a Galaxy).
1). RoadKing RK-56
2). Astatic 636L
3). Stryker SR65
Can’t go wrong with any of them.
I’m staying with the Astatic...
Dozens of JFK assassination witnesses died unlikely, mysterious deaths over the next few years.
Some few of the survivors were running side mic gear.
.
Hogged out the hole for the stud in the Pro-Comm T680 mounts so as to fit some beehives. Used a carbide cutter (alternated with a 9/16 drill bit) in a Wally World rechargeable drill that luckily had enough juice to do both sides.
Maybe these studs have little more flex to accommodate the new 7’...
I can just imagine the AWG I’d need to run that in the Kenworth with a near 50’ TTL length circuit.
I’d want to run that power station sized cable like the exhaust on a Duesenberg.
