Conditions are meh. Did have a contact with 138 in Ohio. Did have to have the RF gain down %30 get the hash out. After that…raise the volume and there he was. Gotta love the RF gain adjustment!!!!

Is there a way to adjust the noise blanker in these radios?? Never worked like it should on AM or SSB. I couldn’t find anything in the manual or online. I figured it’s something that’s in a chip and can’t be adjusted.

Awesome!! Sounds like temflex. Stretches and seals like a mutha. I use Scotch 88 afterwards to seal it all up. Also temflex is not UV resistant so the 88 protects it.
If your radio is a stock 11m/cb radio there shouldn’t be much trash coming out of it. I would stall the filter after the amp towards the antenna. Even on pass through it puts out junk. Don’t get me wrong…they work great but a tad dirty.
