Strange. I seem to remember the ASC was auto disabled on FM? But maybe I'm misremembering.

Not ebay but a ham rig is included

It does a bit. CBs aren't anything worth saving. Just thought someone might like the Yaesu if the price is cheap enough.

Not ebay but a ham rig is included

Someone confused ham rig as cb radio. Didn't know if this older radio interested anyone. Three Vintage CB Radios with Cobra 25LTD and Yaesu and Radio Shack https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/184903520

Not interested in the gate but Cobra 2000 is nicely done.

Sigh. Even the title says this was never about the video gate. I don't care for them any more than most of you. It was purely posted for the appearance of the radio. I didn't even watch the gate myself past a few seconds watching the meters on the radio dance.

Not interested in the gate but Cobra 2000 is nicely done.

Perhaps it isn't meant for people hearing it but it's the owners pleasure at looking at it while using it. Must be something in the water, yall seem fairly judgemental of some poor dude that just wanted something pretty to look at!

Ah yes. Conditions are awful. I apologize. Still waiting on my postal order to arrive to the gentleman selling me the AL80A. Though I'm not sure even 1kw would change these conditions to my favor. Original post corrected.

Big brother targeting the little guy...again

Yes. I dont disagree with you on indexing for inflation. What I was referencing however was the 600.00 limit triggering the 1099 on electronic fund transfer apps.

Who works on Texas Star amps?

I am EXTREMELY surprised. I wonder if someone close to them didn't lean on them a bit lol. I wont name drop, they know who they are. Lol. But I am also glad they have compensated you for the incident. Restores my faith as well.

Big brother targeting the little guy...again

Very interesting. I guess they determined the proposed 600.00 threshold encompassed too many people and was prohibitive in cost and staffing vs return to the nations coffers to enforce. A surprise to no-one but them, clearly.

    TELL US ABOUT YOUR SETUP

Yes BJ, I did indeed mean it in the slang big strapper vernacular. As in Prime Minister's (Aka "Sir Mix A Lot") CB raps referencing "people gettin mopped up by a steel tube" lol
