Wow. Was not aware the N2 memories had also been increased. In that case please put in a request for memory scan! I better check it out and start using them. Appreciated

    AT-5555N2 short version

Upgrade from original N2 to the short version is probably not worth it at this time but an upgrade to the Quad6 pro for sure is.

    AT-5555N2 audio boost

We don't want the echo to be noticeable at all but we do want to use the volume that comes with the control to increase the loudness. Whether perceived or otherwise , frequently in poor conditions it seems to make a better copy at the received end. If you are already 5 and 7 then no need for it...

    AT-5555N2 audio boost

I actually agree with the comments above but the reason I posted was to get comments and feetback from people who have tried it. Did it work for you or not? Did other settings work better? It is something that doesn't require any financial outlay or physical change to the radio and can be...

    AT-5555N2 audio boost

Don't knock it till you try it! Echo delay is not turned up enough to be noticeable. You notice it at 10. Just adds oomph for those difficult dx contacts.

    Hex Beam Antenna

The antenna you want is called skypper. Easy to make and they work very well. Easier than a hex but the same horizontal square configuration. Complete instructions on the net. I use one. Light weight. Simple. Effective.

Switch it in and out via a long press of the Band/Tone button. Appreciate any feed back from those users that try it. I have the mic gain full and a...

Another Anytone clone from Radioddity Qt-60

I forget what I did exactly other than it worked. The radio no longer on the bench in front of me. Try to choose 10khz and see if that works. There might be a step to ensure the changes made are saved? Pez will know what to do when he reads this... Pez....? PEZZZZ?

    President George II

I was wondering what had happened to the Grant 2. It has been reborn as the George 2!

Another Anytone clone from Radioddity Qt-60

Mine works fine in 5khz steps. Maybe you need to recheck and redo the steps.
