    Check out the new magnum!!!

So I guess I could order that radio from the same factory Magnum does and label it the "Ratso3000" version 10 with my special super whoop-ass mod (snip, snip) and tell everyone it's the best version there is? These guys aren't building anything, they're just all ordering from the same Chinese...

    Magnum 1012 Anywhere?

Horrid things. It will not perform the way you want. Get a small mobile set and a big battery. At least you will get out. Unfortunately a 10m SSB radio is a great lesson in handling frustration.

The size, 12m and the sweet receive make this radio a keeper and it can only get better. I think the output should be reduced to 20-25w Pep or fit a fan to the heatsink. The anytone radios sound great on TX but the receive can be a little unpleasant due to the hash that they drag in. A very...

The recently released M8900's are not prototypes. This is what the production lines are churning out. Certain purchasers have requested modifications to this basic design and pay extra for this. Consequently you need to buy from those re-sellers if you want the different features. You can't...

BTW the changes are for us and we have to pay. They will not be incorporated in the std production models. It all adds up.

Got to test them to find out what's needed Duster. Not all the manufacturers want to listen and change things. Most don't. It takes time and a few people using the radio to really come to grips with how they work in real life. Each location and antenna setup is different. The manufacturer seldom...

:scared::scared::scared: VK Rules, I goofed. The Dual PBT have not shipped from factory yet. The current models are the same as I have. The Yeticomnz stock will incorporate several other changes which are taking extra time. Namely the bands will be 1mhz, clarifier will have a 5khz...

Another cool feature is what happens when you change bands. The norm is if you are in ch 12 on one band then all bands will show ch 12. Not this puppy...If you are in 27.555 in one band and you move down a band to find ch 38 for example...and then decide to go back to 27555 when you flick up...

software So far I have been unable to get the soft ware to work either. Can run the program and then install the driver from the program..but the driver is not installing correctly. Win 8.1 doesn't work at all with the driver and usually Win 7 was fine. I think the lead I have is wrong and...
