399 JJ was booming into central Mississippi on 27.375 around 12:45 pm today. He was hitting me at 20 over the majority of the time and sounding good. I made several attempts to to get back to him, but no luck. I was able to make contact with 266 in Edmonton Alberta Canada this morning which...
Falcon 11 Meter Dipole mounted in an Inverted V configuration in the attic less than 20 feet off the ground for the last 15 years. I have talked to just about every state in the US and many foreign countries with less than 150 watts. Can't ask for much more from an antenna that cost less than...
I made a couple of contacts this morning in NE Indiana. First contacts I have made since the 24th of June. It was all quite again by early afternoon. Hopefully things will improve when fall arrives. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend.
Nothing happening in central MS today. I checked 16 LSB multiply times but not a peep. I heard one station on 38 LSB out of Brazil (South America) for just a few second and then he was gone. Here's hoping that the DX picks up soon. The last couple of weekends have been pretty much nothing...
Good Evening Switch Kit. I have a 200 A. It has been a great little amp. Got mine back in 2010, paid $55.00 shipped back then. Mine does about 150 to 160 with 12 watts in on SSB, I only run mine on low and have never had a problem on am or SSB. Of course I only talk on AM every blue moon...
Only one contact today. 124 St Lucia Bay South Africa. That's a long way from central Mississippi. Other wise it has been very quite around these parts.
Good Afternoon Brother DXer. I am with you. It has been quite for me in central MS today. Between mid morning and early afternoon I made one contact, because he is basically the only station I heard. It was 533 in Colville Washington and he was hitting with a 10+ signal and good audio...

Conditions were the best for me today. I made a few contacts but it was tough. Thank you for the reply and hopefully it won't be to long till we can make contact. Have a great week.
399 J.J.
I heard you for just a couple of minutes earlier today. I don't remember which channel is was on, but there was a lot of traffic and by the time the channel cleared out some you were gone. It could have just been conditions as they seem to have been changing pretty quickly on my end...
Much better conditions today. Talked to a couple of stations in Pennsylvania, one in Massachusetts and one in Jamaica. Conditions have dropped out for now, but not a bad morning.
144inBama I can feel your pain. I had stations booming in from the west coast, east coast and Europe but none of them could hear me trying to get back to them. Hopefully today will be better.
I had a nice QSO with 3234 in Winnipeg Canada this morning. He said they had 4 to 5 inches of snow on the ground. We were still in the 80's today. The World Radios and the Needle Benders pretty much made a mess of the morning.
