    Awesome day thus far in NC for Stateside Skip. So many QSO's into so many states on 27.375 LSB. Very long QSO with forum member & friend "FarmerBrown" and "Muzzleloader" in Arkansas. Farmer Brown was blasting his way into NC...like talking on the telephone but better!

    FAIR evening on 10 meters. Several QSO's into New Jersey then Conn., Mississippi. Ended up talking to guy on USS Hoga...tugboat on Arkansas River W5STR

    Long day away from home. Turned radio about 10:00 tonight and heard one distant voice. He was in Australia and responded to the pleading call from my feeble station. Logged him on QRZ.

    On channel 36 LSB tonight I talked to 43/702 Australia. That was it. Then went to AM to talk to some locals. That was OK until the drunks came on. Click-> OFF

    Not so good today but I did get the grass cut. Logged in Mississippi, New Zealand, and a guy here in NC I had not talked to previously. Boring, I know. But gotta keep this great thread rolling.
