Crowded hope your Mosley held up in the hurricane. Both my Pro67b3 and my A-511 held up at 83' in the 70 mph winds for about 4 hrs last night. They make damn good stuff.

You should have a solder lug to solder the center of the coax to the hot side of the driven element and one to solder the braid to the ground side. After that make sure you waterproof it with some coax seal and keep it out of the coax where you split it.
Last week worked Japan and Taiwan on 10. Heard a Vietnam station but he wasn't strong enough to work. Also a South Korean station but he went QRT before I could call him. 10 has been rocking!
Only thing I can offer is to put it together with the specs and parts as it came. If the swr is a lil off you might have to move your spacing just a lil bit. Mine is a lil high up on 27.555 and above about 1.6 but it's 1.1 down in 27.025 which I wanted. The lil higher swr up hi does nothing to...
I have one on an amplified Silver Eagle stand on a FT101ZD Mark 3 and it gets great audio reports. I have compared it to my FT1000D with a Heil Pro 7 series headset boom mike and get reports of pretty much the same.
