Hey 543, not all copies are right. Some of the relay placements and extra long leads mess with the circuit. All are not created equal. But you knew that. But a lot of thes e guys don't
Interesting on the 260n. Almost twice the gate capacitance as the 250n. Interesting to build an amplifier using 2 of each. See what happens. You know on the LDMOS amps, they have been able to parallel several. I wonder if same could be done with these.

Looks like a irfp250n? Hmmm.
You should look at eBay stuff. Some of the Chinese stuff is using some mosfet stuff that looks similar to erf7530. I bought some last year, but never did anything with.
If you put new transistors in, might wanna check tuning. Pp100 transistors tune a little different. Not all the capacitor parts may be the same needed for Toshiba 2879's.
Since you don't want to take the time to understand the differences like permeability. Are you actually building amp or copying off of another's design? Just wondering because of tuning. Also if you are building for 28mhz/ 10M. Hopefully going more for quality. Not quantity. Are you going to...
Since you stated only those 2 materials, yes 61 is better. But on output, you may also want to play with 67. I have used that on some of the LDMOS stuff with great results.
4 years ago I had really bad luck with them. But I have had friends buy from them recently. Within last few months and it seems they have gotten their act together. So far no issues. Don't know if they have tried biasing them yet.
I think you are forgetting, LDMOS are not forgiving when it comes to overdrive. On the inputs they are not forgiving. Overdrive them just a little and pop. They will easily destruct and I mean easily. Example blf188. 3-4w pep drive is all that is needed. I overdrive one twice with 6w pep and...
