Is pasta as important as toilet paper now?

Same here in Alabama, pasta, rice and beans.....the stuff I stocked up on and vacuumed sealed last year. People are stocking up on dried goods in preparations for increased shortages.

    COVID 19 home tests

So you only want to catch Covid from the fully vaxed? Interesting. But it's your home and I fully support your right and choice to decide such, I just wish people would equally respect the rights of those who choose to not be injected.

    COVID 19 home tests

I went to the Dr. 2 weeks ago with that crap. She said it mimics the Omni to the point that a lot of places were assuming the test was a false negative until more people came in with it. She did the rapid and PCR just to be sure.... both negative thankfully.

Cobra 29 LTD Chrome driver & final transistor part #

The driver in mine is a 1957 and the final is a 2078 (SEP 2018), pulled them yesterday to check them after I blew a trace.

External device to combine two Linear amplifers out to a single antenna?

And now it makes perfect sense...Thank you.

External device to combine two Linear amplifers out to a single antenna?

I guess I don't understand that theory.... at all. To me, It would be like keying two identical radios at the same time into a single antenna. It seems as though you would be "feeding" RF into the output of the other or both.

Base How about an antenna switch in reverse?

That's exactly what you can do. The switch doesn't have any components inside other than a couple of contacts, no resistors or inductors, it's just a selectable passthrough.

External device to combine two Linear amplifers out to a single antenna?

Looking at the design, in my opinion, it's an oversized splitter. 1 radio (antenna input) driving 2 different amps, using 2 different antennas (or same antenna with a switch). There's no way you could run 2 amps into that setup without blowing up everything.

Base How about an antenna switch in reverse?

This one actually tells you in the description you can do it.

Base How about an antenna switch in reverse?

As long as you're not trying to use both radios at the same time (putting that for the inevitable argument from someone) it will do excellent. Either Radio Garage, BBI or 3 Made has that setup, can't remember which.

First report... on First test... of my new (to me!) Tram D201A

Try a drop of penetrating oil, inserting the screwdriver in the screw then lightly tapping the SD with a hammer (or wrench, other another screwstick handle), let it sit for 10 minutes, repeat the tapping process while pressing down and turning.

Site Upgrade, lots of new features

Same on my phone, PC is no problem. Pretty sure it'll all get worked out in little time though. It's like installing a new radio in your truck, just takes a little time to learn the functions and remember what button does what.

    1x2x6

That without a doubt looks like a late 80s early 90s key down box. He could run the 6 pill class because everything was in one box and for someone to challenge him would cost them 100 dollars to have the lid pulled. The numbers wouldn't be far off because you can use a driver....he's just...

Is resonance really where you get best antenna performance?

"Those who think they know everything are just too stupid to know any better".....at least that's what I would tell my apprentices. along with "College doesn't make you smart, being able to actually apply what you learned is a good start though."

Is resonance really where you get best antenna performance?

@Chris120 DB quoted post #80 as the troll comment, not the one you quoted, You may not have intended for it to sound as it came across, it happens, it's all but impossible to read intent in any given post. but, your post did come across as "I don't care what science or theory says, my tape...

Is resonance really where you get best antenna performance?

See.....There's the miscommunication....There's a difference between opinion and structured, proven fact, DB is giving facts but because you don't understand it, you just chalk it off as an opinion. There's inductance and capacitance in every length of wire and the amount depends on the wire...
