I had a couple of covers made for other amps at a local mechanical contractor shop that does fabrication/sheetmetal bending. Pretty cheap and quality material, just drill holes and powder coat…..

Never owned a scanner and I’m considering getting one for listening to railroad activity. I’m pretty typically a used equipment guy, and there’s a couple of Whistler brand units available nearby, would appreciate opinions on them. Also looking for other suggestions as well as antenna...

Hmmmmm..........I got some mics back from Chris Holland a few weeks ago, tried a couple of them (EC-2018 and DM-452)out yesterday on the RCI 6300F150. W/o a monitor radio, I resorted to headphones in the speaker jack and a bit of talkback. Not sure if they're wired wrong or what the deal is, but...
