As in the directors being shorter than the other elements. My question is why are some shorter and why are some the same length? Sorry I'm not that techie as I'm just a dumb cber.. lol.

Surprised none of the antenna guys can give an answer.

I got this in a trade last year and am clueless on who made it. It's 28 foot long, a 6 element, has a gamma match, and the boom to mast mount is die cast aluminum as well as the element to boom brackets.

No taper as in the lengths get shorter each element.

Why do some elements taper, i.e. maco and some like the gizmotchy and Jo Gunn don't. I'm referring to the director elements.

I feel ya. I bothered my neighbor even when I was talking on an old 2 watt lafayette he 15 from 1961! Come to find out he was using old junk coax to run digital satellite to his also very old flat screen TV. I think he ended up buying a new TV and cable as I haven't heard a thing from him.
