Roger the long term pain, I am still on that journey. I have reached a milestone both good and rough as I transition from one way of dealing with it to another. It really takes a lot of self motivation, I keep myself in beast mode and tell myself to push through it over and over.

Agreed, if shit hits the fan and the grid goes down I want to know that I can tap into my solar battery bank and reach out. As much a I love technology I still have strong roots in simplicity.

So many options, I think that a build will be more rewarding. I may still order the IMAX 2000 for a portable or just stick with the A-99 and just order the ground plane kit for my portable setup.
