    Trying to identify this amp...

4 watts in less than 50 out, probably more like 25 safely. It's one tube, not going to set the world on fire with that.

    Replacement time for Anytone Q5N2

It was me, today, I would choose between QT-60 Pro, AT-6666 Pro or Icom IC-7300. The Icom is not a toy and in another class.

I doubt the 8 volt reg is bad, but I cant say the same for the PA devices. I don;t recall if you did, but have you checked the gate voltages on the IRF520's? Oh, and don't use 13N10's

    Anytone At-6666 Pro

The firmware that was developed for the Q6P, evolved from firmware issues in the Q5N2 that you have now. The Q5N2, was *supposed* to get updated in January of this year. That did not happen. What did happen, was that the issues were corrected in the Q5N2 Short/QT60P and Q6P. The RX AGC time...

    Anytone At-6666 Pro

I am not an expert in digital modes, as I was never interested. A friend, turned me onto pskreporter last week. I see myself being heard all over the world, which to me, is cool as fuck. I have been using QRPp and 100 watt radios. So, today, I made a simple audio interface cable for the Q6P...

    Anytone At-6666 Pro

It drops considerably, but still enough to be useful. I don't want to say I am sure of what the power out was. I believe it was 49W PEP on 15m.

    Radioddity QT-60 *Pro*

    It does not cover 15m

What effective DSP units with or without speakers are available out there

Of the several outboard ADSP units I have, the RS DSP-40 is by far the worst. It is somewhat useable on CW, and auto notch, but that's it.

    Anytone at-5555n II (version 2)

This sounds more like what I would be looking at in this case.

What effective DSP units with or without speakers are available out there

I have several outboard DSP units. The best of them is the Timewave DSP-599ZX. I have a ClearSpeech with speaker by Am-comm. I believe it is marketed by West Mountain Radio now.
