Why you need a low pass filter when using a splatter box amplifier

It's still easy to stay civil even if you have an opposing viewpoint. It goes south when the strawman arguments come out, dragging others in, and so on. Most people here - especially the technical people tend to follow the scientific method. The observations of one person tend to become fact...

For those of us that are ignorant - what's a "Lesscom version"? I know of Lescomm but is he having Qixiang make one specially for him?

From what I can see and perceive they stay civil when he isn't posting in them. That's when it turns south.

Do they have "NIST traceable" "certificates of calibration" for all of the "measuring devices" in that RV? You know, so they can be sure their customers are getting "the good stuff" at the "right amounts" and not the "bad stuff"?

    Anytone at-6666 v3

I have several of them in the cars. All have 13N10s. All work fine. Some have been there for several years. Some of the radios of this particular design used to have IRF520s. They have gone back and forth a few times. It's probably whatever they can get their hands on at the time for the lowest...

I don't think anyone cares about repairs done out of an RV. It's just something that people say to get a bite. What people care about more than anything is the constant shilling and fraudulent claims made. Calling it now. This thread will self destruct in ~4 or 5 hours. Possibly sooner.

Looking at getting a compact SSB rig for the compact car.

The newer revision has a software change to remove the beep. Older models you have to remove a resistor. I am amazed that beep made it past the test group to be honest. It's just ridiculous.

There are those that think the 980 is "meh" but look at it's price vs it's performance. For the price you cannot go wrong with it.

Yes, it is. But that's the mentality of Rabbi and Fine Tune CB. All they care about is their hundredth of a microvolt. It's the microvolts man! and the watttsssssssss....

Anyone can hear the waffle. Don't need a special radio for that. I prefer not to hear him myself.
