According to DX Engineering's website the retail store is still closed. Easy enough to order online and pickup Curbside or inside Summit Racing. Plenty of room to bring a big truck there.
Right off exit 29 on I-76 just before you get into Akron going west.

Keep the faith @Slowmover !
I have made contacts with all 3 of my working SSB radios in the big truck over the past few months with a slightly less than optimal antenna setup in the Volvo. The problem is getting over the big strapping base stations and big power mobiles on 38LSB is almost...
I have the same mount on the way from Bob's CB. Also have 4 ground straps coming from Amazon for door hinges. Already have coax and a roll of heavy duty VELCRO to mount radio on top of dash. Probably going to get power off of fuse box feed. Going to start with my 5' Skipshooter. Might try a 10"...

Reefer trailer parked next to me.

Well.............gave up on the Volvo! I guess I didn't make the cut for one of the new Volvos, which I'm cool with, so they convinced me to take this 2019 Cascadia! The Volvo I had just loved being in the shop! This truck has been trouble free, so far, and had a good driver, who made the cut...
Has anyone tried a KLV203 with the Quad 5? I was thinking of giving it a whirl. Radio with RF power all the way down DK's 1.5 watts on AM. I had great luck with one of these amps behind a Galaxy77 years ago with the older style finals. Would these newer mosfets swing too much? I would primarily...
I'm considering the DX Engineering connectors. The coax I bought from them had their connectors and they seemed to be of good quality. At less than half the price of Amphenols I probably will give them a shot. Plus they're just down the road from me!
