    Turner +3 disassembly help please

I transplant the crystal packet from Philmore LM101S microphones into the dead MC320’s (The LM101 is Still produced) There are two locals that run elements that I rebuilt and none of us can tell any difference between those two and good MC320 elements. I also convert them to Ceramic (MC321) as well.

I rebuild original D-104 elements also. It is good fun and keeps the old classics going.

I would likely stay with what is in there, unless 150uf would work.

    Turner +3 disassembly help please

Send me your original element. I will send you a good one I have before you were to go the condenser mic route. Just saying, the condensers have their place, but the mojo is not even the same….

    Magnum 257 Microphone

Never had buttons, so I was doubting it was what you were after. Likely not hard to install them though. On second look, the nameplate on the front is up and down switches. Seem they may or may not be volume up and down. May not be too hard to swap them over to channel switches.

    Anytone at-5555 PLUS

I have a V6 model. All I will ever need. From what little I had read, the newest model changed over to where all settings must be changed via computer program if I am correct. No more internal adjustments. I seem to remember the addition of a receive noise filter and the option to change...

ON THE OTHER END OF THE PRICE SCALE . . . .

Glad you got ahold of one! I had always assumed you had one already. I just mostly finished with one that I picked up a few years ago. Nearly done with the recap on it. Cleanup is somewhat ongoing, but nearly done. It is one of my favorite radios!
