HR 2600

In the Stock 2600 there is no Delay function for AM RX. If you are having a delay, it could be an RX AGC problem. Roger

Dak repairs neeeded and few questions

They were very impressive radios in their time. The radio was manufacured by MH Scott company. The SSB version of the base was a DAK X. The SSB Version mobile was a DAK VI There were several AM Mobiles that I knew of, DAK II, DAK III and I think a DAK IV and a DAK V. I have Owned a DAK...

    HR2600 has a blown final..recommended repacements ?

I would go with the MRF455. The mod is not that hard, and certainly will out live the radio. With a simple mount it and solder wires to the PCB, Remembering to 'STRAP' the Emitter to the mounting screw, you should get Nominal output 10W AM /25W SSB. You can bump it up a little by...

    HR-2600

The 2600 is the last of the HR series family (not including the remake of rhe Lincoln) The 2600 is a 10m HAM radio with CTCSS repeater Tone Select. Basically it is the same design as the 2510 and lincoln. The Microprocessor does not have the extra programming for 11M that was included in...

    mrf 455 into alan 9001/ts5010

Hi, From what I have seen there are no other changes. I have not seen a new schematic. Just the new PCB for the final, and uses a SMT transistor for a Bias Diode. (and of course the Grounding Strap). If anyone has seen different, let us know. Roger
Edited by: <A...

    Alan 9001 final problem

Ok. Try removing the final from the circuit, and see if the high current is still there. If so then the proble is elsewhere, maybe the driver is bad or something else. If the problem goes away (no high Current ) then the 2SC is NOT a suitable replacement or is bad. The MRF477 and its...

    Alan 9001 final problem

OK, 800 OHM is ok for the Bias Diode.. I would double check the insulator on the Final, and make sure the mounting screw is insulated from the mounting tab. Roger
