    Sick President Lincoln (no output)

HI, Puzzling, If the driver was bad, and after replacing the new went bad, I would check the Bias Diode. Possibly bad. I would unsolder one leg of the Bias Diode and measure it with an OHM meter, it should read like a diode, between 500 and 1600 Ohms one way and open the other. Also...

    hr 2600

You said the radio was Modded.. I am guessing it had a Xtal Mod?? Make sure the X302 xtal is a 22mhz Also Check the Microprocessor , If it is a UC1251, it is that original HR2600 Micro, If it is not, it may have been replaced with a 2510/Lincoln micro, or a chipswitch. See if that...

Re: Your first CB? what year started? any other radio intere Hmm, First radio.. My oldest brother had a friend in Jr High that was into radios and got him hooked up with a converted 9 channel tube set (former Marine Radio I think) back in 1973. He had a 12' tripod with a Shakespeare Big...

Adding channels to the Uniden Grant XL

There is also a Mod that uses a 2 pole 6 position rotary switch and some diodes. The same as the mod for the Cobra 148/2000. There are small versions of the rotary switches that can be found. You can get 15 below 1 and up to 28.045. Roger </p>

    2600 Lincoln recieve mods?

Hi I would start with Receive Mod 1: Increasing the Receive Audio I To correct this, Add a 4.7uf 16v Electrolytic capacitor across (in Parallel) with R152 (a 560 ohm resistor). This modification will increase the receive audio. Most say that this does the trick and there is little need...
