Look on the top of page 24 of this thread for the google drive link. Its a 9gig RAR file. You need an unrar program for what ever OS you use. I wouldn't try downloading it with a smartphone or ipad.

Looks like all you have to do is add a few bits for ssb ;) the board number is under the channel selector. I can see the number 1 in it.

OK I understand what you are saying now. Ya my TR696 (same board as galaxy) is silent on SSB. Natural sounding on AM. No digital hash at all because there is nothing digital about it.

Is the hiss in the 980 coming from internal the radio or from stuff in your truck?

Interesting how ithe power button looks like an Emergency button. I wonder if this is based off a euro public safety radio mold. Or maybe they are just copying the look.
