I have one HF radio. A 2m 70cm dual band radio and a 1.25m radio along with a CB radio in the shack. Office in the house has a 2m radio.

Congratulations of passing. I was into CB for many years and then one day finally decided to get my license for ham radio. I went on to eventually get my Extra. My favorite part of the hobby is antenna building. Oh and check out POTA.

I'd have to agree. Moxon's just seem to naturally go to 50 ohms with a bonus of closing the back door receive and transmit pretty hard at resonance. The gain is nice and the large front lobe makes aiming pretty easy.

In my shack on or near the bench and hooked up to an antenna are 4 radios. IC-7300 For HF and 6 meters Kenwood TM-733 dual band for 2 meters and 70 cm Kenwood TM-621A for 1.25 Meters President McKinley for 11 meter monitoring. There are other radios but they are just being stored in the shack.
