Hi all, does anyone have information on what type of crystals a Metrotek Mustang II CB takes? I know they are HC-6U size but are the 1/2 fundamental or the exact frequency or some other type of crystal? Thanks, for any help. Adam

Oh well, I refklowed the contacts for the pins on the BA board but no help. Power is in the radio but nothing on the front panel lights except when I switch from AM to USB or LSB, the SSB light does light up. Adam

Yes, I pulled the board, it looks good, no bad parts, no cold solder joints, I will clean the pins with DeOxit and look carefully all over. Thanks, Adam

Hi KneeBiter, the BA board has a heatsink with some transistor sort of glued to a cross piece to hold the heatsink, I will undo that gunk holding it carefully and pull the board, back soon. Thanks, Adam

FYI I was able to adjust the S meter zeronig, I can move it up and down and zero it so that part of the circuit is active! Adam

Yes, it's had some work done and really crappy work at that. I see some solder pads that were burned away so they had to jumper a few spots.
