there is a wire that goes from the back of the echo switch to the mother board usually green blue or white it hooks under the echo board unsolder it at the two pole connection at the echo control should take care of it

i would say u have the instant 19hannel switch on and cant change channel. the other problem is probibly a resister next to a regulater near the mic jack .
