Well I did a power test on 446mhz on 50'.. Testing at the radio I got 23watts Testing at the other end I get 13w I am loosing 10w through coax loss.... Is this excessive or something normal? This is the coax http://www.davisrf.com/buryflex.php

Friend has this 40/80 antenna and I am a bit confused on how to feed this thing. The coax just plugs in to it there is no unun or balun on the end or a way to attach a counterpoise. Hope this link works..

the antenna is not made to radiate at 54Mhz so like others are saying your amp is putting power out on 27mhz and 54Mhz put a low pass filter in and test after the filter..

i winder what would happen to them if you just push 1.5KW to that antenna?
