All figured out. They removed R174. They were supposed to have jumped it. I also jumped R175. At least I can now adjust it but L23 is bottomed out. And why they removed CT1 is beyond me. That is USB adjustment.

Old style Uniden Grant MB8719 PLL. Someone unlocked it and botched it. I find info but not clear if it is actually this radio. It is the size of a 148 GTL so it is newer. Any help appreciated.

My A99 gets all 11meter and all 10 meter and if I remember correctly it may do up to 20 meter. The internal tuner on my radio tunes it. I have to say the antenna has been great. Also I forgot to mention I Have no ground plane kit.

The one I had did about 50 or 60 SSB. I believe AM was like 40 or 50 The dead key was 10 or below and the radio was not all cranked up. But I am wondering if someone has it adjusted to do max power on either the high band or low bands. They never balanced out the radio.

Sure is annoying trying to talk sideband with a off frequency sound coming through your speaker. I never did like talkback. I will put D75 back and get back if it...

I have a Connex 4800DXL it has talk back. It is the model without echo. How do I remove talk back? is it even supposed to have talkback or has a Cap. possibly went bad?

Between assholes like the 11111 guy and local assholes talking about nothing all day on 38 and music playing Cb Radio is finished. All the fools are really taking the fun out of talking skip. And this is getting worse every year.

I have never had the one I have apart. I know they sell extra short protection slugs Incase there is a lightning strike. Very solid switch.

That looks like a good switch. I have had good luck with Alpha Delta.
