Ok I got it working. It was a ground wire that came disconnected. Thanks for posting new wiring for the Pro series!

Too many "World radio's" and "Needle Benders" out there to where it's comical. Many radio's are capable of talking around the world and nobody is bending anyone's needle. Better to use your official CB call sign for those that have one or just make up numbers for your ID and not copy others.

Good it's just that, stuff it with some foam should deaden the hollow mic compartment sound and fix the other issue. I'm trying my luck wiring a electret desk mic to the radio.

Very well could be an ALC spike, my 2950 does the same.

Is there software available for radio programming???

Also Scotts radio website says programming cable included too.
