I provided individual piece-by-piece measurements prior to assembly.
"The stinger slides into the top shaft and is bottomed out."
The total overall length of the antenna with the "stinger inserted into the top shaft" is 71", not including the threaded stud. My previous total overall length of...
The Predator has five components. There are several lengths of the bottom shafts available from nine-inches to twenty-seven-inches.

Are you referring to where the ends of the coil are bent to where they pass through the insulator and make contact to the shaft? Just about 7/8".
Spacing between coils: 0.550" - 0.600".
Center-to-center of coil wire: Average; 0.800".
NOTE: The coils are not exactly equal but very close...
Yes, I understand what you mean.
I am seventy-four years old. When I visit my (much younger) relatives, I may ask, (example) "who won the Yankee / Red Sox game?". My cousin looks at a small box next to the TV and says, "Alexa, who won the Yankee / Red Sox game?" Give me a break! It's humorous...
No problem and your welcome! I know what it's like to be on a mission. Ha! Ha!
Something to consider when calculating for your model using the measurements I provided.
1. The 70-1/2" length includes the 1/4" long X 3/8" threaded stud at the bottom of the 27" shaft. Maybe the 1/4" (0.250")...
Also, I have no use for talkback.
The +10KHz / PA slider switch is directly above the clarifier controls. One time, somehow my fat finger moved the +10KHz switch to ON when I was using the clarifier on sideband, and it had taken me a while to realize why the guys on the other end told me I was...
Each end / tip of the coil inserts into the side of the insulator.
There is one-half of a coil at the beginning and one-half at the end. I started counting the coils from where the end / tip of the coil is inserted into the insulator.
Also, the 3" diameter is the "outside" diameter of the...
7-1/2 Coils
Coil Diameter: 3.100" (call it 3")
Coil Tube Diameter: 0.250" (1/4")
Coil Length: 6.875" (6-7/8")
Insulator Length: 7.000" (7")
This is the best I can provide because my antennas have been disassembled and stingers removed.
Don't make the mistake I did.
Sure enough, just one time when I decided to talk skip, I had forgotten to turn the switch off and I fed the external (driver) amp with a "bunch" of power. I damaged the radio and the driver amp.
Welcome to the cell phone and GPS world.
I did have a new RCI-2995 in 2019. The riveted SO-239 connector had to be replaced with a quality four-screw connector. I had the original dim yellow / orange meter bulbs replaced with brighter bulbs and had an on /off toggle switch for the internal amp...
The primary reason I buy ten-meter radios is for the extra 40 up and 40 down channels and only need the radios converted to eleven-meters.
Yes, I am aware that a 2547 can be modified but I'm not in favor of having kits, toys, etc. etc. installed in a stock radio.
A forum member attempted to convert my 2547 to get the extra channels but he was honest and told me it just didn't work out and he left it stock.
The big black base radios are nice, but honestly, I have no use for all the other available channels. Forty up and down are good enough for me. I...
Yeah....too many bells and whistles, for me also. I'm a "plug and play, keep it stock and simple" guy because I don't have any knowledge about the internals of radios, and I'll keep it that way.
But......, I'll admit that I did adjust VR14 and VR18 on my RCI-2980WX to lower the dead-key /...
