Caspear1978, The one in mine also says: 6B K85 But the complete part number appears to be 3SK85 if your looking for a datasheet. Just thought I would throw my 2 cents in on that part you were referring to. I hope you get your radio going, the GRANT XL is a nice radio. Take care!

loosecannon, Q71 is indeed in the UNIDEN GRANT XL, if your looking at the schematic for the Cobra 148 GTL it is labeled in that radio FET-1. In the GRANT XL (I checked mine too) it is a 3SK85 DUAL GATE MOSFET & appears to be in the IF section.
