Just got in the door and quickly fired up the Ranger and gave a shout out to you in hopes of making contact, pretty quiet up here on channel 39 at the moment..............

On Vacation until the 29th, will be on the radio each day hopefully on 38 and 16 LSB listening for and hoping to make contact with WDX Forum Member's out there and some good DX also, hopefully conditions will be cooperative,I have noticed it seems at least for me up here in Central Pennsylvania...

It was really hopping this morning on 38 LSB and I made 2 contacts,but it died off in the afternoon though............

Good afternoon WDX members, just thought I'd fire up my Ranger and at the moment I'm on 38 LSB listening,as I'm on vacation until July 29th,So nice to have some radio time and spend time also with my Dad and rest up also, hopefully make some contacts out there........

Just turned on my Ranger for a few minutes before I head to lunch with my dad and Son, absolutely quiet on 38 LSB up my way at the moment, might be on after 2pm on 38 and 16 LSB, hope everyone has a great Sunday ahead!!

I'll wait until they bring a SSB version out before I purchase One......

Just called out for you on 38 LSB hoping to make contact this evening,I made contact with Unit #237 out of Wisconsin just a few minutes ago and conditions are are slowly getting better at the moment up here,Not sure how long will last......

Sounds good,I'll have my radio on listening on 38 LSB, I wasn't really giving up per say, I have just noticed a trend in Dx conditions like last year,that's all, hope you had a great 4th with your Family Brother Dxer!!

Well Conditions up my way today weren't very promising,No dice on making any contacts, I got my Ranger sitting on.385 LSB at the moment and it's mostly quiet with a couple of faint voices in the background,I'll be glad when the fall season gets here and conditions improve just like last year...

Good Morning All, planning on being on the Air tomorrow after 9am off and on through out the day on 38 and 16 LSB since I'm off on July 4th from work, hopefully conditions will cooperate to make some contacts out there in DX land, Hope all of my WDX Brother's out there have a Happy and Blessed...

They should have also provided a exemption for CB radio when they wrote this bill, would have made sense,I agree with your above post.

Just fired up the Ranger for a few minutes before I leave to have lunch with my kid's,38 LSB is pretty active at the moment but 16 LSB is really quiet,gave a shout out a couple times,but no dice.....I'll hopefully be back on the air after 2pm, have a great Sunday ahead and God Bless!! 73's

I'll be curious to see what you find,I agree with the overreaching government control,as I remember correctly, before this law came about,we already had a law on the books concerning using cellphone usage while driving in Pennsylvania,or so I was lead to believe!!

I wish there was a exemption for CB in our Bill that's was signed into law,as I understand correctly,the only exceptions are if you have a ham license,a CDL(truck driver)or are a First responder,I'll have to look up the bill to make sure ,but that's what I heard about it on the local news...

I hear you,my Son is 19 already and my daughter is 17,and yes time does fly by,So True.............
