Just an update..I have renewed my license for those of you that were so concerned..I still have my 5555n and a brand new icom 7200..The anytone beats that one to on 10 meters.The rx is just a biit more sensitive and the noise blanker on the 5555n is 10 times better than the icom..Yes i have EARS...

The At 5555 and 6666 Has cascade IF filtering ..even better than the more expensive Stryker 955..

Yea i guess..I have a perfect cobra 2000 gtl and the anytone has a better receiver..I don't need schooled on radio's i have been around long enough..Side by side with the 2000 the anytone out receives it on am..Just the way it is.

You must have a dud..mine blows a 2950dx outta the water..Send it in for some warranty work

Best i have seen in many moons Nothing will beat the noise blanker on this radio..The stock mike sound like a power desk mike..Pretty weak on audio out of the box but turn up the am anl and you will be shocked at the audio quality..

Don't beleive those numbers i assure you i have been in this since 1980 and it's at the top of all lists on sensitivity beats any ham radio or other cb radio that i have had and beleive me i have played some of the best..

This radio flat out has got it..I have never owned a better export radio..For the money there is nothing better..The rx is so quiet you will thing the volume has died..But not the case you can hear anything that moves and if you can't hear it,It don't exist..I have had both the 6666 and the 5555...

I traded for a like new old school rci 2950 with mirage on the faceplate..Radio has never been touched other than the 11m expansion..It has about 5 lights on the s meter on usb receive even with rf gain all the way down all others modes are fine.I have seen this same issue with some...

I think that one is a bit diff than mine..Mine has no memory battery just a 1000mfd cap..Does that one have the battery?Pm me the asking price anyway ..Thanks for taking the time to do that

Hey just testing the water,I am in need of a good working cpu board for a 1st gen rci 2950/Mirage..It's the board that does not have the memory back up battery..I suppose a little newer version..Mine is stuck on 28 MHZ in the scan mode and none of the keypad button's work..But does however tx/rx...

Sounds like a carrier point adjustment ..Or your crystal filter has drifted out of spec..

Had this up for sale but got no hit's so i decided to get the 2 tubes it needed and keep it.So i got me a timer and a relay and dressed it up a bit.When the light turns green you can tune it up.Great little amp..Glad i never sold it.
