I have for sale 2 ft-101 series radio's.One for parts and the other will be good to go with some tubes..I have checked the rx on the working 101 and it's fine and i have seen this radio work just fine with a good set of tubes..Works on all bands will need cleaning and a fresh alignment and it...

If anyone has a schematic and or manual for this meter i am in need as mine has bit the dust.When in peak mode the meter pegs..Thanks in advance.

Just traded for a mint ranger 696f ssb base and would like to know how it performs on ssb as far as audio quality.Looks to be the same as the 2547 galaxy..and anyone know if it will cover 10 meter?

Looks basically the same but however i found mine to be deaf as a doorknob compared to the older models,I don't know if it's exactly the same as i am sure it is not,But rest assured if you jump that resistor that i noted the radio's rx will come alive..Can't understand why they would have cut...

Gonna give it a try,I read some about it being very unstable..Did the clarifier mod not sure if that will help..Maybe we can come up with a fix for the drift..any ideas?

Thanks,I had thought about that mod but i really did not think that the cause of this weak reciever was the transistor or the diodes because the older model stock was running loops around the china version,Had it beat bad on rx.I don't know why they didn't use a much less value resistor (R67)...
