We slip seat at work all the time. The easy way is to mount your radio and a good external speaker to a plastic cutting board. Cheap. Easy to find. Molded in handle.

Go for the Vector 4000! You can talk down there with no problems. Get à good SSB radio and talk on the high side too. Happy DXing!
