Can anybody guess what the extra channel lay out is for my radio? The extra channels are in the Tone and Brt/Dim switches. With the tone switch on Hi and the Brt/Dim switch on Dim. I am on reg CB. Put the Tone switch on Lo and leave the other one on Dim. I have the lowers. Does any one...

I had a 44 and it has a freq counter plug on the upper right hand side. Good talker for a single final radio. Gave it to my friend because it did not have side band.

I am going to wire up some mic adapter pig tails so I can use 4 pin mics with RCI 29XX & 5 pin Cobra radios. Can anyone offer up a good way to straighten out a little bit of the curly part of mic cord to put on the plugs? I know they will work just as well by wiring right to the curly...

Got the SUPER STAR SHARP SHOOTER today. Really fast shipping. Feels weird in my hand. I like it alot. Nice and loud. Good reports from my 2970. Had to back way down on the mic gain. I regularly run a 636 on that radio. Waiting on a 575M6 to arrive in the mail any day now.

Thanks for the input. My slip seat box is powered by a lighter plug. Also have a extension so I can run it to the CB pwr Post in a big truck. Presets work as long as the box is plugged into a pwr source. 73"s
