I always use respect in my post. I have to restrain from offense. I love to see peoples ingenuity. I love to see the reaction to certain posts. It's all good. Wow what a good iron, flux, and solder wick can do with soldering skills. God bless you all.
Wow this has just blown me away. I am impressed with the ingenuity I just witnessed, I may bring some of these ideas to my work. Screw the the high vacuum solder suckers I use. Give me a small torch and an air gun! BRILLANT. Good stuff guys.
I do apologize for this, Believe it our not I'm so clueless I dont know the difference when it comes to board numbers, I will try not to make this mistake again, I got a bit caught in this, the more I listen the more I learn, I'll prevent being rude going forward.
Hello Andy and every one, I got an awesome 1985 mod . I call it Frankenstein. :} It still works just audio very thin, the only number I found on the board was PC-385AG Dont know if that means anything, l don't know if tjis is the board number. Happy viewing,
Ok I do have a picture of my amp that Matt reworked for me. He did a beautiful jod.
I supplied the relays, switches, caps, and diodes he reworked the whole darn thing.
Polished every thing and tuned it up. Only pics I have right now.
I'll send you some pics of my Frankenstein radio. Many mid 80's mods. Built in power source for D104 mic, The final mounted on rail of the bottom portion rail, I was told it was bullet proof. Extra channels which are all over the place. However a mad (crazy)
radio tech gave it to me, my first...
Andy you are a damn genius, You never fail to impress me. Wish my skills with electronics covered a damn radio signal. Oh well got to get back to a damn digital circuit.
Well I don't bloody know. When I get home from work I could shoot you some pics. I have 3 Washington's, and they are a bit different. I only know what PLL IC it has. MB8719, I have some schematics that are a little bit different from what I'm looking at. Thanks Mike.
Mark
I know it sounds dumb but I don't bloody hell know how to tell. I have 3 Washington's and they are all a bit different. I did know the PLL IC. Sorry to mention it Mike, I can't really tell you.
Hello Mike, is this what you would call a dial A watt? Like to put one in my old Washington. I dont have crap for a clear schematic. I guess there is quite a few versions
Actually I left the wiring to these young kids. Mainly phase A, B, C and Common. for input and output. I made it so they dont die. Its up to them not to blow up the instrument.
It is a nice container for junk we had laying around. :)
