Hey Everyone ,
Me and a friend were talking about old tube CB radios the other day , and a question came up .
Does anyone here know what CB radio was the last one to be made with tubes in it ?
Hey Everyone ,
I just wanted to say hi . I've been a member on the forum for about 15 years. I don't post much but I like to read everyone else's posts . With that said , I just thought I'd make a post and ask to see if anyone else likes to use those old 23 channel CB radios like I do ...
w9cll ... I've bought plenty of "New Old Stock" items over the years . So I know it happens , I've just always wondered how things get bought , and manage to go years without being opened or used .
Retro , I replied to your message .
w9cll ... I've always been amazed at how something could sit that many years , and never get used . I'm not saying you're wrong ... I just can't help but wonder why people buy something like that , and then never use it ... not to mention anyone else that...

I was actually looking into something like a Tram D201A and the Browning Golden Eagle's ... if I bought one of the newer radios , I'd be paying just as much ... but I prefer the beauty , and the ease of operation of the older tube equipment ... so I'd rather spend that cash on something like...
I love vintage radios , especially the old tube type radios . So I was wondering , are the tube type radios worth messing with to use as a daily driver ?
And if so , what classic tube radio is the best CB for the money right now ?
I know it's not always easy , but it is possible to find a 40...
I've had my Yaesu FT-60r for a few years now , and it's been a great HT ... but recently I noticed that my battery was draining rapidly ... so I bought an alkaline pack to use in it's place . In which every time I put new batteries in it , they would be drained a few days later (without using...
