    Radio requires 13.8 volts, I only have a 12 volt battery system

    Easy fix...replace half of your 6v Trojan batteries with 8v Trojan batteries...If the radio won't work at 14v then you have other problems.

    "Outcom" Is just a older Texas Star...Before they were TS...they were Outcom...So what you have is just a older Texas Star 667v.... Just like the "Killer Bee DX250" is made by Texas Star, but doesn't say TS on it...just a older version of the TS 250 2-pill... There's also a "Skeleton" amp...

    Yep, 1000's of snow geese...There are a few Canadians mixed in as well, but most are snow's...They show up in December, and usually stick around till the end of January or mid February depending on the weather...The mallards tho are here year round.
