Should be preprogramed from troy was my understanding It's a kit first you put the whole board together I guess the info is there for that but not install on hardly any radios. https://www.ddsvfo.com/files
Na there is a video floating around where someone did it using something like a expo kit and it worked but the front display doesn't jive with the crystal switching cause it's only a frequency display not a counter
Can anyone tell me what crystal is the mixer they aren't marked and what crystal I would need to swap in to get it to drop in to the 40 lower channels only looking to be able to go down to 26.815 for the most part our standby channel we use her locally. Maybe point me in the direction to were to...
Seemed like the ebay one I got a few years back was set up for 2 offsets and could do 2 modes correctly so am and one of the 2 side bands some had solder terminals in the middle of the board that were marked for side band but I never tried to hook it up like say a 347 Galaxy counter to see what...
Have a general here the tx/rx light is yellow will key up and transmit fine but will not switch back to rx Changed the 2 transistors up by the mic jack for switching already and a couple diodes in that area as well an idea where else to look at??
Would like to know where I can tap in to the radio and use the rca jack on the back of the radio and read am rx
I tried to tap the spot with 68pf cap that would be used on the galaxy type counter fc347 I think it was and the counter
reads 35.034 any idea what to do here?
Looking at the clarifier mod a wire goes to L204 not enough voltage there then looking at the parts list q64 isn't even mentioned that I saw assume maybe its part of the power supply section but unsure was trying to trace the 8 volts using the block diagram as well kinda didn't get anywhere.

No I didn't tie to it at I used it a e reference point to see if the right voltage was there was all I expected 8 volt's it's no present only like 2.5 also noticed some heat on the transistor or 47ohm resistor in the far left corner of main board when I put my finger on the under side of the...
That's what I was thinking I went and checked that choke on the display board that you tie to for the clarifier mod assuming there should be 8 volts there and only found about 2.5 volts
The display contrast is almost completely gone unless your looking at it from the right angle you can't tell it
is on at all anyone else ever run across this?
The Washington 148 style radios have a vr to adjust the tx frequency slightly which is where you can tie in on the center wiper with a cap to do the vfo wind up as long as the radio isn't strapped or unlocked.
