Ok I am going to have a custom Amp built. I would like some input about tubes. I am looking at the GS-35B or the 3CX1500A7 tubes. Which of the two is best for 10 - 12 meters, and make a better running linearamplifier? TIA

Nice... I have a similar looking 60' with mast self supported crank up tower but I have 6 element quad on it though. Can yours crank to fold over?I love that feature on mine. I don't have to climb the thing to work on my antenna.

I run the lightning 6 quad beam from Signal Engineering and love it. I have it on a tower and turn it with a Ham IV rotor. My station is considered one of e big stations in town. I love shooting skip with it. If you do the installation right, and don't have alot of wind and ice where you live...

PS. I run a Magnum S9, A 2x2879 driver into up to a 12 pill big box with no problems. I run around town keying a 8pill box. I drive a 1994 Honda Accord. No problems over here.

Can you clarify which set screw did you attach this ground wire to? I would hope it is not the set screws used to adjust the length of the whip?
