    HP 8656B signal generator cable

I finally found a brand new old stock 8656B, my question is I need a cable to go from the RF output to the radio. The connector on the back of the unit looks like a 4240-062 N style connector, the manual calls for a 50 ohm type N male (us mil-c-39012). Is there a premade cable that has this...

LOOKING FOR A GOOD TRUE PEP METER?

I'm with the captain on this subject. Why is about price and reviews? You have to have the right tools. I believe what I see versus the interweb. You see videos of guys whistling and yelling into a mic to get a needle to move, really? I built one of Ken's dummy loads (K4EAA) and did a test with...

Best Moblie Antenna for OTR Truck

What type of truck? Out of all the antennas and antenna systems I have made, the Wilson 2000 is the best bang for the money. I run a 5000 that was given to me by a guy that retired. If you got a plastic truck with air suspension you got to get some metal under it or make a vertical dipole.

    Testing signal generator ouput

I have a leader LAG audio generator, how do I go about checking it's output? When I inject the tone into the mic jack, it is there you can hear it and see it on the scope, and when I change the dial the tone changes, but how do I go about checking to see if the 1kHZ tone is in fact at 1kHZ. I...
