Nice, I no the end fed isn't a dipole....it seems to do pretty well tho, have it hung about 50ft high, and have about 150ft of coax going to the shack, been running mine for a few years now..... Just curious what u guys run..

I liked the Predator 10K myself, I had the single coil, 27" shaft, and mounted it on the back side of a toolbox in the back of the truck I had, and the coil was 8" above the top of the cab, worked alot of DX on that antenna, those Predator antennas, are hard to beat..

Hey guys, I don't have a what is needed to set the wattage down on this radio, no proper equipment, no radio tech's close to me so, when I key the mic the meter in the radio goes up to like a 30 or so in the red, what does this indicate ?.... And also, like to set the dk watts down in it too...

Never ran a Tram here before.... But my choice would be the Cobra 2 grand, sweet radios, don't take much to get them to sound good, works well with several different combinations of amps too..

There was/is better ways to make the connections, I used the wire nuts on mine for the center wire, and water clamps for the ground side...some of the other guys made there own connectors and put there wire together which worked really slick how they did it......the wire I ran is short compared...
