Doesn't MFJ make a window mount kit where you can run several feedlines to,i know i'v seen it but cant find it now? KC2OST if i can find the model number i will post it unless someone can help...... anyhow this might also be something you could look into.
All good ways to listen for E skip and my help is directed toward any new hams or for that matter new and old. Since i find myself listening to CB less and less.... what i do is use a old 16 channel bearcat scanner for local 2 meter repeaters, park my ft-100D on 50.125MHz and use my ic-761 to...
Datsun66 i have also worked PJ4G (Netherlands/Antilles) which is an Island in the Caribbean not far from Puerto Rico. Hey aren't you in Wyo. or Montana?......I need either one for WAS. Maybe a quick 40 meter sked?
OK thanks guys,i'm not giving up on HM-31 yet. I'll keep checking around for a mod that wont cost any moola. Otherwise i'll start looking at different mics.
On edit: Yeah Ron the reviews for this mic don't look to good.
It has been brought to my attention that my audio is muffled, trusting the source on audio report i was told that you can put a small hole in plastic bubble (on mic). The mic is a MH-31,rig is a ft-857 non D is there any other mods that can be done?
Holy crap!!! I just busted through BIG pile up on 21.283MHz at 2:09pm pst and worked H44MS (Solomon Is.) with 5/5 report. He's still on there giving away QSO's.
I can't wait to get QSL card:)
