Waiting on the big brown truck to drop off the radio I am building a copper J pole for 2 M, one thing I am not clear on is the mounting. Does one need to isolate it from DC ground? Pictures I have seen are hard to tell but most look like it would just screw to a piece of pipe for a mast but...

Found my call on the FCC site this evening KD8KCH now for a radio and an antenna and some warmer weather to put it up.

(Most of me is at least 60 years old except for my brain. I only use it occasionally so it's newer. Right?) I guess in that respect my brain would only be a 30 something trapped in a 60's body. I have the web site to check for my call, but since it was just Sunday that I passed the paper...

Just passed the Tech. & General test today, now looking for a radio for when I get my license fro the FCC.

My screen is 17", things are working ok tonight, much easier to read not having to scroll left and right.

It is not just you, I have the same issue. The help and forum pages are just fine but the rest of them I have to do the same thing pictures or not. Other forums I am on if someone puts up a big picture I have to scroll left and right but otherwise not. If I change screen resolution to avoid then...
