does anyone know if the 2sc2999 and Schottky diode swap for increased receive gain and less noise is just for am or does it help ssb too. i read somewhere that it worked well for am but there was no benifit for ssb. i have a dx 959 and i rarely talk on am anymore so i just wondered thanks
