ill have to take it apart to see.....it doesnt have a in line fuse so i think they are inside.

i dunno about 10 turn pots and stuff but i know the clarifier in mine was too touchy so i just put the biggest knob that would fit on there and it works. its not touchy anymore

im usually pretty good with a soldering iron and i have all the tools to go with it. i been doing it for a long time...the one thing you wont find in any tool kit tho....a steady hand!

i want to change the frequency display in my dx 959 to blue. i found some replacements on fleabay but the trouble is, i dont know what size to get. i dont want to take it apart untill i get the parts so i cant tell the size. has anyone done this before and know what size i need? thanks

those were good mics...those turner plus 2`s i just bought a d104 and a supersidekick hopefully one of them will be ok for sideband

hey king cobra, i was a member of react too in the 70`s my call letters were kqv0155 that was when cb`ers were taken seriously then you didnt have to have a license anymore and it all sorta went downhill!

i still have a couple of old hallicrafter sets...those old sets are still really cool looking. i have one that works and one that needs restoring
