I was doing some research on the 440HP I saw a video and it showed two mosfets. Another picture I saw a pill. Do the newer 440HP's have pills and the older have mosfets. Thanks God Bless

How would ya go about converting a double bazzoka dipole from 11 meters to 2 meters for a scanner radio. I should of asked first if it can be done and if anyone ever did it. Thanks God bless

I just throw a little towel over mine. My cobra 25 wouldn't come on till it warmed up. I was told it has a cold solder joint somewhere. I swapped radios and sure enough the good one comes right on no matter how cold it is.

Hi guys and gals. The backlight in my Pro 2052 scanner is blown out. can I replace it with a miniature christmas light bulb. Do ya think it will get too hot. It calls for a 8v 2amp. I dont know what a xmas bulb is. Thanks

Hi . On my RCI 2980 WX when the RF power knob is set at 25 for example on the meter it reads 5 watts. Are the markings ( 0 - 50 ) for the RF power knob PEP readings? I guess I dont understand the compairison between the knob settings and the meter reading. I hope I explained myself ok. Thanks...
