I have saw the wiring for a Turner + 3 to a Cobra 25. When I wire it up as stated and I plug it in the radio I get a loud hum and the needle pegs to the right. I believe I have a cold solder joint on my cobra 25. The squelch seems to cut out after awhile. When I push on the board it comes back up. I know they are hard to find but any ideas what to look for. Thanks GOD BLESS

I tried the mosfet mod on my cobra 25 but no work. I'am gonna put it back stock. My question is what does C-45 do. It had to be removed for the mod and I cracked it while removing it. Is it necessary. I am not going to rat shack anytime soon. Thanks

Hi all. My Wilson 1000 was bent from being too long and hitting branches. When I straightened it it is becomming weak and may break off at some point. Can I put a spring and a shorter length on the Wilson 1000 base and still keep low swr's? As always thanks for your expertise.
